Plan to spend about an hour at the office. New patients should arrive ten to fifteen minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete registration paperwork. Plan to meet with the physician and his or her team for your consultation. They will review your medical history as well as your surgical goals and expectations. After this you will be examined. From there, the physician will discuss your options. He or she will review risks and potential complications of the selected procedure. Please ask if you have questions as we want you to feel comfortable in making this decision. Please review the information provided in this site that is specific to the procedure you are considering. We can provide you with educational brochures that have clear explanations with pictures that cover details of many procedures. If you decide to proceed, your procedure will be submitted to insurance or you will be sent quotes for cosmetic procedures. If you have questions regarding any of these steps please feel free to call us and someone from our office will be happy to assist you. If your insurance plan requires a referral, you must obtain this from your primary care physician and provide it to us with your insurance card at your first visit. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call and give us as much notice as possible to allow another patient to be seen during that time.
